The Grounds
Port Isaac described by John Betjeman as, "A highly picturesque fishing port with narrow lanes and slate hung houses." It remains unspoilt in a very atmospheric location.

Interior
Listed Grade II. In the family for 400 years. A large cottage in a unique and commanding position overlooking the harbour, village and straight out to sea. All main rooms overlook the sea. Downstairs is a long attractive panelled sitting room, dining room and kitchen as well as a w/c. Upstairs - 3 bedroom (One with double bed and two with 2 single beds in each) and a bathroom. Surrounding Area
Port Isaac is a traditional fishing village nestling within most spectacular coastline between Rock and Boscastle.

From its great vantage point, sip an aperitif on the terrace and watch village life go by. The view encompasses open sea, the picturesque harbour with fishing boats lying at anchor, and the village platt on which a local brass band and male fishermans choir sing regularly in the summer.

A huge range of fresh fish is available in the fish market (50 yards away) fantastic fish restaurants and local pub overlooking the harbour, all within easy walking distance.

The coastal path winds out of the village and follows the coastline to Polzeath. For those wanting a more strenuous walk this is a spectacular piece of coastline (approx 9 miles from Port Isaac to Polzeath) passing Port Quin, Epphaven, Lundy and The Rumps.

Polzeath is the family beach with sand and surf. Daymer Bay is ideal for young children and and Rock renowned for sailing, water skiing, golf, and fishing excursions. You can also get the ferry from Rock to the scenic fishing village of Padstow known for its fish restaurants. The cycling route (known as the Camel Trail) runs between Wadebridge and Padstow along the southern edge of the Camel Estuary.
