(4 consecutive weeks)

Port Isaac is truly the Jewel in the Crown - we hate to leave but look forward to our next visit...We love the cottage...the most comfortable stay in over 30 years of visiting. Thankyou! (P.S The black kitty belongs to Mrs Baker who lives behind the butcher!!)

Port Isaac is a lovely place, it's got to have the best pubs and shops. The house is lovely, the bedrooms are nice. The black cat is brilliant , it has slept on my bed and it scratches on the window when it wants to come in. The best views you can get. P.S what is its name?

So here we are once more, the Hodgson’s coming back for the 7th glorious year. The weather this week has been the hottest on record and we’re nicely tanned. This time the pace has been more relaxed, spending more time here, soaking up the sunshine and between visits to the pub and walks to St Kew. As ever amused ourselves with the sport of Lawrence Llewelyn-Bowen watching and I think this year is a record. The brass band and shanty singers lent a great atmosphere to our mealtimes… and so we continued until now we must leave, but we’ve already booked next year, so watch out White House ‘cause we’re coming back!
PS A new black cat has arrived on the scene

Our second stay here – we’ve had a wonderful two weeks. Weather has been mixed but last weekend’s sunshine was terrific. Golden Lion has been on fantastic form; Slipway and Old School house also good. We hope to return soon!!
